At anytime you find the game difficult however, you can always run off to gain experience on random encounters to level up until the game gets easier for you. Your characters start off at a low level but will generally level up quite quickly. Your ultimate task in the game is to defeat the final boss Chaos but you'll have to complete many tasks and defeat many monsters before you make it all the way down the road to him. Besides the random encounters you may face, there are also many set battles as well, such as against monsters guarding a chest or door, or against a boss monster that you must defeat. This continues until either the monsters or your party is defeated. In the various battles you will fight, your characters and the monsters you face will take turns undertaking an action in battle. Walking out in the world and its various dungeons, there is a high chance that you'll be walking into a random encounter with a group of monsters. Towns are generally where your character will head to buy equipment and spells, heal up, deal with most npcs concerning quests, and generally walk around unhindered by monsters. You start in the middle of the world with access to one town and one dungeon but slowly as you advance in the game you'll be able to visit more towns and more dungeons as they are unlocked via the things you do and the quests you complete such as by defeating a boss monster or completing a task. The game consists of towns, dungeons, and a world map.

I won't go into a detailed overly of what you should specifically do in game as more then enough guides exist for you to grab those details from but I will throw some advice to help you on your quest to defeat Chaos. The version comes with updated graphics and names and brings back the nitty gritty game mechanics of the original. The Renowned iconic game makes it to the Mobile phone, giving hours of entertainment.
